“Forgive me, I was looking for…” His eyes looked past the woman and saw Robert passed out on the bed, mostly naked. “I see…” said the man with a sigh. “I thought that perhaps tonight he’d be able to resist the wine a bit more, but no.” His eyes looked to her and he could tell that perhaps she was a bit out of sorts. He thought to offer her comfort and company… but it was perhaps not her place to accept it, being married to his older brother. Still, he couldn’t deny it when he looked into her eyes.
“I was about to head down to my room for a bit of a drink as well. I was not able to partake earlier due to other… activities…” Mainly guarding the fat man’s back, Henry admitted to himself. He loved his brother, but the man had times he was an oaf. “Perhaps you’d care to join me?”
